She has 15 years of experience in therapeutic work in London, Scotland, and India, as well as in various organizational settings such as schools, NGOs, private clinics, and the National Health Services (NHS) UK. Within these settings, she has worked with a varied population of clients and with vulnerable adults, teenagers, young children, and families. Her expertise lies in the area of mental health issues such as depression (including prenatal & postnatal depression), anxiety, stress, trauma (including PTSD) etc. Her practice modality is predominantly “Person-centered,” but she also includes elements of “Psychodynamic,” “Cognitive behavioural therapy,” and “Play therapy” when required.
Ms.Foning has also worked extensively with children with special needs and specializes in one-to-one counselling sessions, group therapies, training, and workshops. She is an expert at understanding a child’s social and emotional needs and helps incorporate this into the child’s IEP (Individualized Educational Plan). Her significant contributions to the field, particularly in child development, have impacted many individuals. She helps SR Educare enhance their students’ preschool to K12 educational journey.
